My chickens are breaking off their roost and dragging it into their feeder!

My chickens started dragging their roost out of their coop and into their feeder. The roost is not screwed in- it's hooked onto the side of the coop. I just don't understand how and why a chicken would do that. It isn't a problem, I just want to know what my chickens are up to. Any ideas???????????????

Lol that's not something I have ever heard of before. Could you post a few pictures of your setup so we could get a better idea of what's going on?
