Treatment of Lice

Have a chicken that is loaded with lice eggs in the throat area. Ordered 9mL of Elector PSP to mix in 1 gal of water to treat all our chickens and coop, but curious what the best way is to administer the mixture. Is just spraying the feathers with the insecticide enough or does it need to get down to the skin? I plan to use a pressurized chemical sprayer to do the coop.

Also, since I'm using Elector PSP, is this just a one time treatment for the birds and coop? If not, how many treatments should be done and what is the timeframe between treatments?
