They are picky when they are young, and suspicious of new things. Takes them a while to learn to eat new foods. Like kids! Chicks dislike most treats grown chickens would kill for. They'll get there with time. Right now they should be focusing on their balanced feed so they can grow properly. No need to dilute their nutrition with treats (candy). Take advantage of the fact that they aren't demanding treats yet, and just let them grow first.
