I put them in their run for about four hours today to enjoy the sunshine. They started out fine, but ending up spending most of the day under the coop! I don't know why. I brought some feed out and they gobbled it up. The water was on the other of the run and I don't know if they drank all day. What a bunch of chickens!!

I had the same problem once except in reverse! My chooks refused to go in the coop. Don't worry, they will probably get it eventually. Try picking them up and placing them in the middle of the run. Or try a really irresistible treat like mealworms YUM.

They spent more time out in the run today. When I go in with them are all over the place, flapping, pecking , hop flying! When I leave they go right back under the coop. LOL!!

I did see a hawk perched on the fence watching them. He can not get to them. Well fenced in.
