YEAH CONGRATULATIONS
I'm in AZ and my girls have been laying really good! I just use a regular ol light bulb though. My poodle got ahold of my girls about a month ago, and almost killed every one of them (we weren't home) ! They stopped laying for a few weeks, but then they started up again. I have a bowl of oyster shell, and a seperate bowl of lay mash. Plus we keep layena in an automatic feeder for our girls. They free range all day 4 days a week, and then they get 3 hours a day two days. Only one day are they kept penned up.
