Do they have shade outside the coop?

It sounds to me like what you very importantly need is to CUT A LOT MORE VENTILATION INTO YOUR COOP, RIGHT NOW. It will do you good in the long run anyhow. Save the piece(s) you remove, to close things back up for wintertime. And staple some wire mesh over the opening.

A fan would help too, if electricity is available, but mostly you need less wall and more open space.

Good luck to your chickens,

Pat

Add ventilation (maybe you need a couple strategically placed windows), one high and one low to help the air circulate by convection. You can run a fan too, but you have to be careful about dust and stuff getting in the motor--fire hazard. They make fans for barn use.

If you have a safe place for them to range or shade available on your run outside, try locking them out during the hottest part of the day. Make sure they have cool water.

Oops, sorry...didn't read the whole thread! Ditto on what "patandchickens" said.

Glad they are doing well now.
