my chickens are losing feathers

5 of my chickens are losing feathers on different parts of their bodies, especially around the eyes and comb. Any suggestions?

Could be molt. Could be bugs. Could be feather-picking.

What other signs do you see? How old are the birds? What protein level is their feed?

All of mine are dropping feathers like mad, it's molting season. You should be able to notice new feathers coming in around the head, maybe on the back. Check and see if you can see any pin feathers coming in. If so, they are most likely molting.
