I have 8 chickens, three of which are bantams. They are almost 6 months old and some of them are laying eggs.
They have started getting very loud and restless.
Should I be worried or doing more? They are well fed and watered, and they also have crushed shell.
But they have started to be aggressive. Not to the point of actually hurting one another, just bullying.
Can I do anything about these issues?

Wendy, where is your general location? If you are in northern hemisphere, crowding may be an issue. When birds become sexually mature, the pecking order gets shifted a bit, and if they don't have a lot of room and diversions, the aggression can get out of hand. Often, birds spend too much time in the coop during snow season.

Hello, yes...Location is needed. Coop size and run. When you say loud is it the egg song they are singing?..Pecking could be from lack in protein, over crowding or too warm?
More info needed to help you..

Birds near the point of lay do get loud and rowdy.
Pecking order will go thru changes at this time, thus the 'aggression'.
Nothing to do but wait it out....unless there is a crowding issue that needs to be addressed.
