I have 4 hens, don't ask me what breed because I don't know. I also have 1 RIR rooster. I have 1 hen that I have had since she was a chick. She is about a year old now and she was a consistent layer for several months when she was old enough. About 2 months ago she was attacked by my dog, but didn't appear to be injured. I know this was stress for sure, but it has been like 2 months and she still isn't laying but maybe once or twice a week, as far as I can tell. I also have 3 hens that I bought after I lost 2 other hens to the same dog attack and I bought them a few days after I lost the other 2. I know they have to get used to their new environment, which is smaller than where they came from, but there were a ton of chickens in the same coop. I was told they were about 6 months old. So, I have had these 3 hens for about 2 months. At first i got a couple of eggs from them a day, but since have decreased. I am only getting 1-2 eggs from these 3 hens a week. I have looked at most of the postings and ideas. We feed them a high quality feed, they have a very nice coop and I let them out to roam my back yard pretty much every day for several hours, and they don't appear to have any parasites. I was told they were good layers, so I don't know what's wrong :(.

I live in Texas so the weather is very inconsistent. It is spring now

. So, I don't know if the weather has something to do with it and I don't know if there is anything I can do. I have attached pics if that helps. Please help if you have any suggestions

I don't think so because some days they stay in their pen all day and still no eggs...

Could you have an egg eater? Notice any broken shells or yolks?

From what I see, you've got three golden buffs that should be great layers. I'm not sure what the black hen is, but with the increased daylight hours, maybe things will pick up.

Could you have been deceived about their age? Could they be older hens?

No broken eggs. Hopefully they will start laying more. I don't know about the age, it's possible I guess:(
