I went out to the coop yesterday to see what all the fussing was about and the chickens were playing tug-o-war with a foot long garter snake!
It was disgusting to see how far they were stretching it apart... but I'm glad they weren't afraid of it. Pure carnage and blood!
We have a serious rat snake infestation in the abandoned barn on the bordering property. I hope that their reaction helps us avoid egg snatchers!
