Dandelion
This morning was odd...Mommy put what she called a 'chicken diaper' on me when she and Uncle came to do chores. She took me up to the house and INTO the house. The tile was hard to walk on. Then the perkon (me note- person) that seems to be head chicken came out (me note- my mom) and said- "I have a chicken in my house. I have a CHICKEN in my house." They Mommy laughed and took me back outside.

Daffidol-
MUST. HATCH. BABIES!

Daffy is being real mean. Usually she is a nice leader, put she is being very pecky now-a-days. When Daffidol wouldn't come out of the nest and puffed up and Mommy, She took daffidol out and threw her in the run. It was kinda funny. (don't tell Daffy i said that!)

MMMMMM Mom gave us some bread/oatmeal mash with sunflower seeds, my FAVORITE! Daffy is being an absolute meany pants! Shes hogging the favorite nesting box, and theres nothin' any of us can do about 'cause shes head chicken.

I was a good chicken and layed early, but polly took forever so we didn't get let out early. >.>

Aw cute!!! Broodies are very cranky, I feel your pain. My hen Buttermilk's gone broody five times in about a year and a half.

Today was SO fun! Mommy and her Dad were cleaning out the area behind our coop. It had TONS of boards in there. The pile was like, 3 mes tall! But the furry think that meows was there too, and me and him explored.

Daffidol
WON'T THAT CRAZY LADY JUST LEAVE ME ALONE? I was TRYING to be broody but she took me out 10 TIMES!

Lacy
Today we got out late 'cause Mom was in church. I don't like that. Oh well, she gave us oats!

There is snow, which is what mom calls the white stuff, on the ground and all of the chickens besides me don't like it. Its not THAT bad!

I got hurt! My earlobe was bleeding and Mom put me in the infirmary. It's so lonely without everyone!

Polly
Mommy and unlce and the top Roo (me note- dad) were out making a ruckus behind the coop and making it ALL dusty! But I'm glad they did! They added a new part to the coop, and now we have even more room to explore!

Miss Pecker

I don't see why Dandy is SO MAD about the snow. sure, it's cold. But it's good to eat! *giggles* Mommy through us out into the snow, 'cause we wouldn't go out on our own. everybody stood there and tried to look pitiful but mommy laughed at us and went into the barn. After a little while she did put us in. Nobody had moved.
