NOOOOO!!! mommy found my hidden nest!!! My 9 perfect little eggs, TAKEN!!! NOOOOOO! farewell, eggies.

WOW!!!!! !Yesterday a great big four-legged thing with long white fur came over. Mom and her family were petting it and calling it 'tucker' and 'good dog'. IT CHASED US!!! I was freaking OUT!!!! Mommy said it wants to be friends. WELL I DON'T!!!!

mommy gave me a talking to yesterday cause she thinks i have hidden nest. i just looked cute and said nothing. She was looking around everywhere. If i DO have one, she aint gonna find it. not saying I do...

Daffodil

Mom has been acting STRANGE. she been digging in the dirt and laying wire down. Aren't only chickens supposed to dig? But she's been talking about a 'dog' she said shes sooooo excited cause a dog is going to come here. i hope it wasn't the four-leg white furball that was here awhile ago....

Pebble

I just LOVE mommy. she lets us out into the barn and we found a GREAT BIG pile of hay that is HEAVENLY to dig through! so fun, and a big mess!

SO I haven't written in.....three months.....

I'll try doing it again.

Polly- Everybody has started laying now! Which means there is lots of traffic in the nesting boxes. Pebble decide she wanted to hatch eggs. Mom kept on shoving her out of the boxes and keeping her away from the boxes. Pebble eventually decided it took to long and gave the job to daffodil. (me note- thanks a lot!)

I WANT CHICKS! There were 5 perfectly good eggs to sit on and MOTHER doesn't want me too. She says I am being a moody broody. Well fiddlesticks I'll be the moodiest broodiest moody broody broody moody broody. broody. thing.

Nosey

I now look very different! Why? 1/4 of my comb came off! Yuppers. It caught got and I bled and had to be kept in the...INFIRMARY!!!!! *shudders*

Pebble

THE DOG CAME! He was doing fine for 6 weeks then he started to bark like crazy at strangers and peck them in the leg. He got taken away. Mommy was really sad.
