Granny's gone and done it again

When we have teething puppies or kittens or elderly dogs with sore gums, we freeze mini bagels. They're the right size for little or sore mouths and they don't leave too much of a mess. When they start to thaw or get left behind, we just toss them back in the freezer in a zip-lock baggie for the next round. They're not just soothing for the critters, though. They can be quite entertaining when someone opens the wrong baggie for a "toaster treat!"

oooooooo That is a great idea. I was wondering yesterday if there was something like Zwieback Teething Biscuits for kids. I remember reading something about somebody freezing English muffins for their kiddo who was teething because the little air pockets in the muffin caught drool but for a pup Pi's size, bagels frozen would be perfect.

We took her out for a walk this morning. She's gonna be a big girl and already powerful. I don't know who gets the bigger workout her or us. She's too small for a prong collar yet so it's like being hooked up to a sled dog with endless energy.

DH took anither day off to get me in to the dentist. I have not been able to wear these dentures since the day they gave them to me. For what we are paying for them and their guarantee, they have to fix them or make me a set that fits. Upper partials I should say. Wish me luck!

Good luck. I'll be looking into hearing aids. Talking to some folks in the selling departments, even my Dr, sounds like it takes time for you to get used to them. Ears are adjusting.

Feeling down is to be expected..still.
You are now going through things without your husband to talk to about them. Including, Dr. visits for both you and Robert. Spring is showing up. He's not there to ask him if he heard the Robins this morning. Or to let him know you saw your first Daffodils. Oh those flowering trees are starting to bud out!
My guess is you're still reaching for things you would have been needing to get for Tom. Such a routine for quite a while. I did that for months.
Enjoy those moments when you see the first springtime things. Think, this one, this would have been Tom's favorite. Brings a smile to your face.
I've been praying all along for you.

My dentures don't fit right either. I have to use a lot of denture adhesive, but I did not have the choice to having them fixed. It works for me, and it's better then broken teeth, but I totally get it!
