My chickens eat my garden, but I want to let them free range???

My chickens climb on my porch and poop, eat my garden and dust bathe in it, and they eat our vegetble garden, we cant fence the garden but I want to let me chickens free range! what do i do!

There are very few options besides the fencing that you are unwilling to do. Depending on the size of your garden, you could try netting over the whole thing. That will do nothing for your porch however.

Accept it. You've made a decision that creates all the others.

There's middle ground here, but you have to be willing to take a look at the options. Those options include a moveable tractor to keep them contained, while providing the benefits of free ranging.

Other than fencing your garden there really is nothing you can do to stop them. I'd like to let mine free-range too, but I don't appreciate my gardens, both flower and vegetable being trashed by them.

Either the chickens are fenced some way or the garden is fenced I have fenced my garden. I don't have a porch or any flowers so no problems there. I would look into a moveable tractor might be your best bet.

I let mine out the last hour or two and stay with them to keep them out of my garden.
