Where are you located? Extreme cold could certainly shut down egg production but not for last eight months.

Can you provide supplemental light in coop where they roost? If yes, then use a 15-watt incandescent or better yet 1-watt LED that comes on about 1 hour before sun down and makes so total light for day is at least 14 hours. Even my birds following molt do not resume laying until a month after days start getting long again in January.
