My chickens layed their first egg!!!

This afternoon I found a perfect egg sitting in the nest boxes:yesss:. I was very surprised about how perfect the egg was and I did not expect the egg to be in the nest boxes because from what I read I expected it to be on the ground somewhere. What was even more surprising was that the egg had two yolks! I am very proud of all my chickens, they are 20 weeks old.

I think my saffire gem layed the egg because she is one of the most mature out of my chickens (not counting the roos/cockerels) and because of the egg color.:)

That looks like a huge first egg. Mine started about 20-21 weeks. A couple breeds not laying yet 23-24 weeks now. It's also middle of winter here so I was worried they would wait till spring but all 4 gold comets lay every day and 1 from either australorp or rir. I think it's the australorp. I also got the tiny egg a week ago. It's the size of a water bottle cap lol.
