They are normally let out in the mornings, back in for nesting, or I put them back up when we leave. However, I'm constantly having to check up on them throughout the day. They will sneak under the fence with the horses, or they will wander somewhere else and I have to bring them back. Unless I make a chicken run... That's the only thing I can do, I think, unleash someone else has an idea? My chickens are very tamed and loved, fed well, clean coupe, etc. We live out in the boonies, and coyotes are a problem. They don't come near our coupe since our dog watches over them. So what can I do to help keep them home, I would hate to keep them couped up even more than now.
