Is it safe for them to be out in the rain? They are eating bugs in the rain. When the thunder came they ran into the house. I just want them to be safe.

It is safe for adult chickens to be in the rain, so let them at those bugs!

Thank you! They are adults...the babies are still in the brooder. My duck is still in the house. I was just worried because it is not a light rain and their crest are all falling down.

Well all total for today we got almost 4 inches. My chickens are all fine and I gave them some tomatoes before bed.
Since we live in sand it is already soaked into the sand.
