Nice also that they really treated it as a straightforward "trend" story, as opposed to a tongue in cheek "crazy chicken people" story, which is probably what it would have been 5 or 10 years ago.

Not that we're not crazy chicken people, but you know what I mean...

I'm pretty happy with how it came out. I don't think I looked too dorky. They did put in the chicken porn comment...

The photos they used were mine from when my girls were little. They were going to mention my blog (www.thenewgreenblog.com) which they didn't. Bummer.

But I think this could encourage more backyard chicken keepers!!
