Hope you all enjoy. I have 32 acres and we enjoy living where there is no one else. I think it is beautiful even with the weeds!

Thanks I do love my location and My rooster. He is the best and he is totally friendly! he never bothers the kids at all when they are out in the yard and he takes good care of his hens too. I was reading other posts about how it is so expensive to live there and I thank my lucky stars that I live where I do. We got 32 acres and a yard with a 3 bedroom house for less than 40 grand. I thought it was a hell of a deal and the icing on the cake is that my grandparents lived here for 33 years! I LOVE this place!

He is a Buff orphington. The hens are too. Some of his tail feathers are gone, he is doing a slight molt right now but he is still handsome.

Northern Minnesota! I love it here. It is where I was raised and I couldnt imagine leaving. I am 30 miles from the canadian border. I got my farm 6 years ago and It was a really good price. You can easily get a good house and a nice chunk of land for under a 100 thousand. Sorry this is so off topic!
