We just recently moved the chickens to a smaller (but more outside) coop. They have grass, bugs and more now. But they stopped laying.

Should we move them back to their old home..

They should OK and back to laying soon. Sometimes they take some time to adjust to a change.

How long have they been in the new coop?

Get some fake eggs and put them either where you want them to lay or where they will see the eggs.
It'll make them get back into the routine of laying faster.

Try placing two golf balls in the nest..it fools them plus if there is a snake anywhere around and thinks he has a meal....it's curtains for the snake!! LOL

their just adjusting or they might be laying outside or maybe under the coop or maybe someone is eating them how long has it been since they got moved? less than a week just let them adjust and maybe help them out with a fake egg. good luck!
