My chickens won't eat vegetables

Honestly, they don't eat any scraps except for veggie burgers!

Help! How do we get them to eat them!!!!

Mine didn't at first. But I kept throwing them in there, and eventually the got the hint! Good luck!

Try different things and see what they like. I know my birds don't like bananas. Just trial and error. Don't leave too much food in the run if they don't eat it. It may attract unwanted scavengers.

I started them eating veggies as chicks, but when I fed them I would chop them into bite-sized pieces. Maybe that's why they like the veggie burger...no work to eat it!

We are going to try watermelon.Right now their favorite snack is peanut butter with seeds sprinkled on it.

They are pullets,we've had them for two months and they were pullets when we got them,so we don't know exactly.

sometimes my 31/2 year old hens are actually AFRAID OF NEW FOOD! Seriously they run from it then one brave girl tests it and finally the eat it but not always.

We had to cut up our fruits and veggies to small pieces for our 1 months chicks to eat them. They will not even attempt eating whole fruits and veggies.

We tried feeding them watermelon but they wouldn't eat it unless they watched me tear it up and throw it near them,but I call that a success!!
