My chicks are hatching. They are in a very warm room and it's pretty humid back there. It's gone over 80 with my govees. Is this as bad as I've heard? Is it just the hatched chicks making it do this? Could it be them getting on the govee? It's a Nurture Right 360. Vent is all the way open and I've drawn out water out of the resiviour.

Hopefully you can add water back when it starts to dry out. Once the chicks start hatching the humidity can skyrocket as they release a lot of moisture. That is not a problem. The problem would be if it dries out too much before they all hatch.
Ok I didn't drain it. But I did remove some. So I don't need stress on it?

Congratulations!

I've got one of those incubators and three larger Brinseas, and the same thing happens with all of them when the chicks start hatching. I've raised the lid a crack on one side just for 10 or so seconds, then wait a minute, and do the other side the same. If there's an eggshell that happens to be sitting right there, I quickly pull it out. Those and wet chicks are what's doing it, and it comes back down as they dry out. It's typical, so never worry.

Can we see a picture?

I did the same thing, open a little on a side with empty shell and grab with fingers.

I would have worried about the spike in humidity, had I not read so much on this site. I was prepared, due to members posts on their experiences.

Ditto on seeing baby pictures.

Here ya go
