I'm keeping these hens inside for a couple of weeks hiding from the HOA. This is their set-up in the garage. It's about 4' x 5'.

I brought their ladder roost in from the coop and the top is covered with plastic netting to keep them from flying out. There are windows in the garage -- you can just see the sill of one in the first pic to the left. I also keep a light on from 6A-6P.

But they're not happy I can tell. I give them weeds I pull up from the yard, leftovers still, and veggies. Plus their scratch and regular crumbles. Is there anything else I can do? They were used to ranging all over my back yard and this forced confinement will just be for a couple of weeks.

EXCELLENT news! My Biotchy neighbor on one side (That I'm SURE reported me) is moving OUT this weekend!! The house has been for sale for a few weeks but the moving truck was there last night & she was packed up!!

I am so happy!! The girls can go back outside!!
