So they’re out in the coop and doing well as far as I can tell but they’re all grouped around the entrance hole every night instead of inside the spacious coop on the roosting bars. Should I just let them do their thing or do I need to move them inside more? Whenever I move them they just go back. 🤦🏼‍♀️ They are quiet and sleeping when I check on them.

Is the red light a heat lamp? They look either fully feathered or almost. They don't need supplimenral heat. Maybe they're avoiding it?

My 6 week olds are still mostly sleeping in a pile on the floor at night they have gone on the roost a couple of times. They will get the hang of it eventually.

They may need more light than just the red light in order to navigate deeper into the coop. There's some evidence they can't see in red light so it's essentially a dark zone to them. Can you provide a little night light for them for a while till they get settled of a night?

No, it’s just a red led. Lol! These little odd balls are afraid of the dark. When they don’t have light they freak out and chirp like crazy. We’ve been slowly weaning them off of the light. I set the lights on a timer for less and less time each night. :)

Oh! I never thought of that! I’ll try it out! Thank you!!!
