Quote:We just love him. He is 23 weeks and the whites are 10 wks and the black and splash chicks are 17 wks with the rest being 9 weeks old, so he IS older, but notice that the splash and black chicks are bigger than either of the whites. Diesel is as big or bigger than the SS roo on the roost in the one shot of the ss pen. It blows my mind.

I think that last picture should be titled - I'd like to go to bed but you are flashing a camera at me!
    Nice looking birds though!

Quote:Yes, especially because the first pic was when I went into the coop and the last was when I was leaving. He moved all around while I was taking pics and went back to the roost as if to say "we're done here."

I love the pic with Diesel & the roo Looking out the window!

I like that one too. I am hoping that they get along just fine because it would be nice to be able to keep the black and splash cockerels in a pen together with some girls. Now I just need to get some more girls.....

Yes Wildsky, you need to get some updated pics. I have been debating on whether or not the one that I got to hatch is a male or female as well.

Why did you pick all the feathers off that poor chicken in picture #2. That is just
mean. Are you practicing voodoo with it or something? Poor chicken.
