My chicks first night in their coop!

Hi Ginnyj, I am new here, too, but thought I would say your photo is very inspiring for a newbie like me about to embark on this adventure! I'm excited for you! I love how you talk about being proud of them, like parents do with their children! Cute!

Do you have your chickens yet? I'd love to keep up with some other new people. So far this has been great!
 
I am new to chickens as well. My girls are spending their first night in the coop tonight of all nights. We've been putting it off due to 3 weeks of rain and then almost a week nearing 100 degrees. They don't seem to mind the fireworks in the neighborhood when they were in the run but did not want to go in coop just now. Is it best to let them alone? I just want to keep peeking in
