My Chicks have arrived!

My chicks arrived Tuesday from Meyers and all healthy and lively!! Loving the Ecoglow brooder. They are so fun to watch. Giving electrolytes and vitamins in water and wondering how long should I keep giving them that. One has a little pasty butt but dealt with that. I am curious though because that ecoglow brooder is great for now but these chicks will out grown it sooner than they are able to go outside. Yes it says up to 20 chicks but I am certain my 8 will be too big for it soon enough lol. I have them in my sun room which right now at night is in the 50's. Will I need to supplement the heat source as they grow to big for the ecoglow? Thanks all!!

Welcome to BYC, and good luck with your chicks. I am guessing that they will be feathered by the time that they outgrow the Ecoglow. At that point 50F in the evening should not be a problem.

1 Easter Egger
2 Buff Orpingtons
2 White Leghorns and
2 Black Austalorps

Love them
