I have 14 Chicks 9 Hens and 5 Roosters I have had them since day one, I know I am making changes alot as they grow, but I am trying to do the best I can w/ a 1 man crew here. They chicks live in a large pool storage box as of now( coop should be done in the next few days). They have been in this temp coop since day 1 They now have a 20`x 40` run with the temp. coop inside while I construct the new coop beside it. Come night time the will all hudle in the corner of the fence until I come out w/ a flash light and turn on a night light them they all run inside, am I doing something wrong? Whu wont they go inside the temp. coop by themselves? lol I don't care but I want them to be safe if I run a few minutes late locking them up at night.
