I have had my Chicks for a month now... I still don't know what kind they are for sure... I know we have one Rooster and maybe a second. Can you please help me figure out the gender and breed of my chicks. I know that Saturn is a Roo by the way he acts and his comb... However i'm not sure about Pheonix.... please thanks!!

Phoenix is a PULLET. She is a brown leghorn. A boy brown leghorn would have much redder comb and lots of black on body at this age.

I think most of them are pullets, Rocki might be a boy, hard to tell with just a head and neck picture.

Well Rocki's Comb hasn't grown since it was a chick.. I'm hopeing its a girl though...

Rocki has a pea comb, they are naturally much smaller than other comb types.

EE can be sexed by the color pattern on their body, it would help to have a whole body picture showing it.

Phoenix is a Pullet for sure. Check out pictures of Welsummer, Brown Leghorn cockerels and look at their feather color. The difference is day and night.

Great pics! Rocki is a boy. See the white patch developing over the wing areas? That's his roo pattern coming in. Girls are kinda evenly patterned all over while boys are blotchy like that. His comb is also showing a lot of red so those two things together.....

So is Rocki an Easter Egger? and Will we have problems with having two roosters? Saturn is our other rooster and They have all been together since I got them except for Spirit and Lil' Red.... I hope we don't have to get rid of a roo

Yeah he's an EE. if you want colored eggs and plan on hatching chicks from your flock, he would be a keeper.

Sometimes two roosters can coexist allright. One of those things you just have wait and see.
