My chicks won't eat scratch

I didn't know if this was normal. They are only 6 weeks old and eat their feed and grit just fine and the LOVE meal worms and dried crickets. But when I give them scratch they want nothing to do with it. Today I gave them some fresh spinach and they went nuts over that too. Should I just keep trying scratch and maybe they will go for it or just give up with it?

They don't need scratch, it's just a treat. So if they don't like it, don't worry about it. However, I'd check it for mold or funky odor just to make sure you don't have a bad or old batch of feed.

Agree, scratch is a treat.
Their chick feed is way more nutritious than scratch grains.
I don't feed my chicks anything but chick feed till 8 weeks of age.
I do offer them Granite Grit when I let them outside, when they have access to grass, weeds and bugs, between 2 and 5 weeks old, depending on the time of year. GC
