I have 8 female (hopefully) chicks that are 3 weeks old.
Some things that stand out:
-My Buckeye, Ruby, is the friendliest. She was first to let me stroke her chest. She comes to the brooder door
when she sees me approach. She seems the most trusting. So happy I got this breed.
-My Blue Copper Marans, Libby, is the tallest. She is bold - will approach but not let you near her. When I lift
the brooder netting to reach in, she appears to be looking for a way out, behind me. Smart. Calculating.
-My Green Queen Easter Egger: Shy, shy, shy..."DON'T LOOK AT ME!"
What are some traits you notice about certain breeds?
