Hi guys, I have recently hatched 7 chicks, two Sussex, two wyandottes, a vorwerk, an Orpington and a legbar, for a friend of mine who would like to restock her flock.
I have heard that the way to tell their gender is when their combs start growing-apparently males get theirs first.. However I just wondered if there was a way of telling their genders sooner? They are 3 weeks old today, and there are some wattles and combs peeking out already.. Can you tell by behaviour?
Thanks
