My Christmas present or my ducks?!

I got a heated blanket for Christmas and let me tell you, Gilberta won’t leave it. At least it’s a king size so we can share pretty good! She looks like she wants to build a nest on the warm blanket because she’s really use to blankets and this is the coziest one. I better watch out! Even better the blanket has heat control for both sides. I can keep her side low and I can change my side every 5 minutes!
Her dads convinced she’s about to lay her first egg on this blanket because she farted on him earlier I mean a big, real fart!

That's where the trick of the camera comes in. The heated blanket is actually a red blanket on top of me. Then I put the blue blanket (ducks blankie) on top of the heated one and she get's to lay on the other side with her blanket between her and the heated one. I just left the red blanket out of the frame for close up pics!

That's what it seems like right about now!!! She yells at me every time I try to take her off and then goes back to sleep! I'm not sure how to break it to her the blankets coming to bed with me. Also, the blanket might be the cause of her being a bad girl and flying out of her pen as she pleases!! Right now, she'll only fly out and onto the bed in the morning if she wakes up before me. I think this blanket might change that good girl behavior pretty soon though! I really like that she can get out of her pen and I don't ever want to change that so I hope we can keep this mutual 'you know where your bed is' thing going!
