Sorry for the loss, this is the hardest part of raising any farm animals....Please don't allow this to bring you down so far that raising poultry is harder than you thought.
Chickens are gentle fowl, and sometimes some don't make the long road we would like them to travel.... Keep the faith and enjoy the ones you have, or the new ones that are to become a favorite.
