My Cochin Threw Up

Today I was sitting in the coop and my 16 week old partridge cochin hen threw up by my feet. She was, and still is acting normal, but she threw up. It was just that one time too. We had just cleaned the coop and we introduced 3 new chickens to the flock. What caused her to throw up? Should I be concerned?

Check her crop first thing in the morning to see if it has emptied normally, or if it i full and hard or full and balloon-like. Chickens can throw up water and some crop contents if they put their head down, but you may want to check her for a crop problem. I doubt if she has a problem, but it will be good to watch her. Were you holding her when she did it? If so, maybe she just had too much fluid in her crop.
