Is there any advise to make sure this cockerel is a well behaved rooster in the future?

What’s your guy doing that makes you think he won’t be well behaved? Is he your first roo?
There’s some excellent writing here on BYC regarding the whole rooster thing. When you have a few minutes, go to the articles tab, then do a search for Shadrach. He has a lot of articles, all worth reading, but one in particular dealing with how roosters fit in the flock. Good luck!
