I am just going to upload some pics of my coop and run, the shed that is now the coop was once a junk storage building and it can be seen a little in the first picture.

This is my chicken herding dog Daisy, helping with construction site security. (She's half Black Lab/half German Shepherd, in case anyone was wondering).

A look down the side of the run/coop.

Finished run, but the coop isn't ready.

I put a window in the side of the coop for light.

Inside window with nest boxes I built. I have gotten them to stop roosting there, so there is no poop there anymore.

This is where they roost now.

Here are a couple of our BR using that roost.

And here are just a couple of the flock in general.

Lucky you to have a spare building! Looks like they have lots of room inside for a growing flock!

Very Nice

Love the color of the building, my BRs are the same, the sweetest girls out of the bunch. They are the only breed that have earned themselves a "retirement home."

Hey all, thanks for the feedback. My wife says she thinks this project is what has kept me sane through quitting smoking. Honestly, I think she's right. What fun it has been. I went from a foul addiction to a fowl addiction. Okay, lame joke. Anyway, goodnight BYC.
