You could raise one end of the thing a few inches. This would tip the roof and encourage the snow to slide off. Otherwise, you could create second, independent, roof over the first. This second roof could be tipped by you and a friend after a snow to get some of the snow off, then use a snow rake to take off the rest. They make rakes specifically for raking snow off the roof.

Another thought. After the snow, for into the run and with a broom or rake, push up on the roof tarp to encourage the snow to move off.

Where we live, everybody has 2 snow rakes. (I have three) We know snow pretty well up here
