This forum has been INVALUABLE in starting up my little coop. Something that I've wanted to do for years and finally (after spending countless hours on BYC) I decided this was the year to do it.
We started with baby chicks this past spring, raised them up, built them their coop, "Coop DeVille", and they are thriving
Here are my boxes...
8 spots, bottom hinged for easy cleaning, top hinged for egg gathering
mounted about twenty inches off the ground in our 12x12 coop for our 9 ladies and one rooster.
