I had one connected but it was an old one and kinda flaky at least I blamed it for the issue I had at the time. But yea any USB camera can be used by the RPi. I have the code down in the Beer Cave.

Actually that's a good idea for the egg camera I wanted to install... gotta get a newer USB camera and try that out.
