My Coop Mahal w/PICS

I asked my hubby to make me a chicken coop, he is way over the top on this one. It is gonna be beautiful. Here are some pics in the construction process

He has just been absorbed with this project and we have been building together. I will post more as it progresses.

We are in GA. It has been cold this winter, but I think we are starting to warm up. We have some chicken house curtain that we are gonna use as shades if the wind gets up. He has some sort of pulley thing he has come up with. Actually the coop has 4 seperate pens and will have 4 runs attached to them, with a walkway in the middle and some storage for food, etc. I think the measurements are 24 X 12 X 9

I KNOW when building such a project that it is NICE to have a cooperative and helpful wife to lend a hand and enjoy the construction of the project together.

HAVE FUN !!! (after it's built...all the FUN is in cleaning up the "chicken manure"...Ha-Ha !!! )

Well, I'd like to say I'm a huge help...... but if its too cold or windy, you can find me in the house studying the incubator! He really keeps changing stuff as he goes, so you never know, but I have helped a good bit.
