We have metal roofing that goes up in a couple days. We have spent so much money on this coop it's unreal. We've shown the photos to chicken people and they said it's a 5 star hotel.What are you putting on for roofing?

Looks like you've got good roof overhangs planned. That's important. Are the soffits open for airflow?

Ventilation will still be required in the winter -- in fact it's critical to prevent frostbite because it removes the moisture that causes the problem. The usual guidelines recommend a minimum of 1 square foot per adult, standard-sized hen of 24/7/365 ventilation.![]()
