Welcome to BYC. Where, in general, are you? Climate matters, particularly when it comes to housing.

Looks like you've got good roof overhangs planned. That's important. Are the soffits open for airflow?

I'm in Canada. We put venting on the side of the coop at each end so the air goes thru like a tunnel and in the winter we will close it up with plexiglass.

Ventilation will still be required in the winter -- in fact it's critical to prevent frostbite because it removes the moisture that causes the problem. The usual guidelines recommend a minimum of 1 square foot per adult, standard-sized hen of 24/7/365 ventilation. :)
