Great looking coop I like the chain link fence for the run that should be varmit proof.

I plan to put chicken wire on the bottom half of it so nothing can reach in the pen and also the top is completly closed off with a sunscreen I bought at lowes for that run

That looks really good. I wish my brother-in-law would have offerd to give us his dog run that is just sitting in his back yard for no apparent reason. But oh well.


Adding:

Are you only using the pavers around the outside edge to keep out hungry ananimals?

A word of warning about using dog kennels as runs. The average kennel purchased at Home Depot, etc. are not dog or varmit proof even with the addition of small mesh wire at bottom of the panels. The wire should be reinforced by adding a tie wire to each diamond in the wire secured to the bottom rail. Even this will not keep a semi deterimined dog from ripping the chain link from the frame if there is enough slack in the wire to get a bite on it.
