I decided to make a post on my coop. I was given it by a relative that used to keep chickens but wasn't planning on keeping them again. She had kept 5 chickens in this coop, I currantly have 2 so I assume they have plenty of room. I blocked off the space under the coop as they often hide under there so I can't put them in the coop at night. After I got the coop I scrubbed and power washed it so I'm sure its clean. It has 3 egg boxes.

That’s a nice coop , how’s the airflow ? Do you think it will stay nice and cool for them ?

They might like to dust bath underneath the coop , you could put sand/dirt under there .

They will go in the coop

I plan on drilling ventilation holes asap. I was thinking about putting a sand bath in a tire in their coop for them. I saw pictures where they did that with tires spray painted pastel colors and I thought it was so cute I just don't want them hiding from me when its time for checkups and stuff

Really cute! I would take advantage of the underneath space that you nailed off. You could get airtight gasket topped plastic containers that would fit under that space and use it for storing their food and treats:)

Also other things you might need for their care and cleanup like paper towels and stuff.
