This is my coop.
How would you suggest insulating it for winter.
I was thinking about buying the foam board.

This is the front with the door. I am keeping that the way it is so I can lift the front tarp on good days.

Off topic. This is my kitty Shiner. Can you guess why I named her that?

whereabouts are you? How cold does it get where you are? What stops predators getting in?

It gets to about 0 at the lowest. Rarely below a few degrees. The main problem is wind and sometimes ice.
I have never had predator problems. We live in a very open area, surrounded by fields, so I think all coons and such are afraid to cross the fields surrounding our house.
Plus we have a bald eagle and a hawk petrolling the fields.
They can't get in the coop though.

You could use plywood and attach with wood screws. That way it could be removable for summer time if you wanted to keep it airy and open.
