My Copper Maran hen lays beautiful eggs and started crowing!

I woke up a couple of days ago to find my Copper Maran hen crowing. She's laying eggs regularly and was hatched spring of 2013. Anyone know what is going on? I don't have a rooster. Thanks!

Sometimes in a roosterless flock, one of the dominant hens will pick up the crowing duties.

Can she actually become a rooster or both!?! Recently, some of my eggs look like they've been fertilized (and no rooster here). Thank you.
