Your roosters look very , very nice , but they are built completely different from my CXs . Yours look more functional , maybe they are a different strain . Here are mine as they look today with their crops empty at 8 days shy of 6 months ; they have been on restricted feed to slow their growth but still built more like a small double breasted turkey . My new scales came today so I'll see if I can weigh them tomorrow .

I weighed two out of three cockerals today before they were fed [ and must add I really like this Berkley digital scale ] . I've got two that look identical in size , one of them weighs 16 lbs , 14 oz and that's deducting 3 oz for the tote bag ; my scale weighed it back and forth between 2 and 3 oz but settled on 3 . The other guy used to be the largest untill Sept , but has had a case of bumblefoot and the other two passed him ; he weighs 14 lbs even .

The pullets weigh 12 lbs to 12 lbs , 6 oz . All of them turn 6 months next Tuesday and have been on restricted diets since they were 4 weeks old .
