Im glad I have the chickens that I do despite them not being one certain breed., course nothing wrong with just having one breed. They older hens are starting to lay in the morning and then at evening. It like a timer goes off when I hear that egg song. lol I told my husband that I could show him what the egg sound sounded like but then I thought no he'll make fun of me lol.. But he heard them and Im like thats a egg song.
Its nice to get eggs now. No more having to go to the store and pay $3.00 a dozen OUCH anyway I enjoy talking to them when I go out and take care of them. My husband will talk to them and pet them, They seem to like it and beg for his attention. Which he is more than willing to give. Myself too. I praise them when they lay their eggs..... Its so nice having them and it keeps me from going insane , keeps me grounded. My husband knows that I love them and he's glad that they do keep me level grounded...
